The team at Source Energy Co. (Source) are currently consulting with Synergy and the Strata Community Association in regards to the fine print of the State Government’s recent electricity bill credit announcement and what this means for its Source customers to access this credit.
The announcement builds on the governments WA Recovery Plan, which also includes a freeze on increases to electricity and water tariffs, motor vehicle related charges and public transport fares, and reduced Emergency Services Levy, wastewater and drainage charge fees by passing on the benefit of lower gross rental values.
Similar to the support measures announced by the State Government to support those impacted by COVID-19, Source is already assisting our customers with a zero increase to the already discounted cost of comparable Synergy tariffs for all customers in the 2020/21 financial year.
Source takes an innovative approach to delivering renewable energy, with the aim to address consumers’ needs for greater control over their costs. Source will continue to address its customers’ needs and will be investigating how we can support our West Australian household customers further and help them save more on their electricity bill.
